Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. Thanks, Bobby! See you next year!

Comfortable stay and great staff. I stayed for one week and would come back again. Good location a little away from Thamel, which is easily accessible by foot.

We stayed in a big room in traditional style. It was so cosy that it felt like home. Nice room, comfortable bed and even an electric blanket and gas stove. Fantastic! The host and his family are very helpful and friendly. It is located in a quiet area in walking distance from the Pātan Durbar Square and the restaurants.

The place is very peaceful with the small garden. I was very well received and the owner always arranged everything for me. I had a bus to catch at 6:30 in the morning, and he offered to prepare breakfast for me earlier than the scheduled time so that I wouldn't catch my bus on an empty stomach. He offered to keep some of my things at the hostel free of charge so that I could go on my road trip without being overloaded. And finally he agreed to let me stay longer in the hostel on my last day to wait for my plane which was late at night. I highly recommend this place to stay in Kathmandu. It is a little corner of paradise to be calm and in the middle of nature in the heart of Thamel. Thank you for everything.

The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.
