We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, very central yet peaceful, making it easy to explore the area. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always available to assist us with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

I had an absolutely lovely stay at Lalit Heritage Home. My airport pick-up went smoothly and I was given a warm welcome by the family owners. The room was very comfortable with a hot shower, desk and a view over Patan Durbar Square. My favourite part of the guesthouse was the terrace on the top floor with a stunning view where I would eat my breakfast or relax during the evenings and I could see the mountains on clear days. The breakfast (and dinners!) were delicious. The location is also great as it is right next to the Palace/Patan Museum with plenty of restaurants, shops and coffee shops nearby but is also nice and quiet in the evenings. What I particularly liked about Lalit Heritage Home is that it had the atmosphere of a homestay with all the comforts you need. I really enjoyed chatting to the family, learning more about the local area and felt very safe and looked after, especially as a solo traveller. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return.

Suits a long stay and as such we stayed much longer than our initial booking. Spacious layout with comforty double bed, work desk and cupboards corner, also kitchenette, and ensuite, plus a sofa and coffee table area. Lots of light from windows (with some sun around noon). Heater and electric blanket in winter. Great- pressure on hot shower. Close to center, but located in a quiet side lane. Helpful owner.

A wonderful Place to stay! Location was just perfect next to the golden Temple and nearby Durbar Square. Our room was very comfortable, spotless clean and cozy. You have a nice view just out of the windows. The owners are lovely! We would choose this place again and can recommend to stay here not highly enough.

    Loved the beauty of the building - a carefully restored traditional house. Very elegant and tastefully decorated. Great location just near Patan Durban Square Super helpful staff. Very quiet at night. Beautiful small garden for breakfast. Food excellent. Very good value. Easy 15 minutes taxi ride to centre of Kathmandu. stayed this week with my son and would definitely recommend it.
