We had a magical experience staying at the Hakupu carriages for my partners birthday. We love trains so it was just perfect and such a lovely surprise for him.     Great location opposite the beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable for our 2-night stay. The bathroom appeared to be renovated recently. Our hosts, Luke and Kylie, were very welcoming and helpful. The included continental breakfast was fresh and perfectly suitable for us as we are not big breakfast eaters. Our room, which was located facing the road, was very quiet. I'm not sure if the room at the back of the property would be a better option during busy times.
