We stayed in a large room with a view of the sea. Very clean with a comfortable bed. The rooms are part of a converted church complex in the country. What stands out is the real B&B breakfast served to you in a dining room. The host is friendly and accommodating. There are good restaurants, about 10 minutes' drive in Timaru.

She was incredibly accommodating and always available to assist with anything we needed. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Magnolia Cottage for anyone looking for a private relaxing and welcoming getaway! Will definitely be my go-to when I'm in the area!

We had a very beautiful stay. Although we just stayed for one night, we were treated like part of the family. The family stay offers a beautiful shared bathroom, a well equipped kitchen as well as the most comfortable beds you'll ever sleep in. Breakfast was amazing. The house is located a bit outside of town which offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The host even offered a few tips about the area. We wish we could've stayed longer. Would highly recommend!
