Alan and Lois are superb hosts, They made us feel at ease immediately and we always felt relaxed in their company. You could tell they just wanted us to enjoy ourselves during our stay and made us feel more than welcome. The accommodation was clean, well appointed and luxurious. It is truly one of the best accommodations we have experienced in our 6 trips to NZ. Breakfast was an absolute delight with fresh homemade waffles and fine china. We loved their little pet bantam, Buttercup. She was almost as sweet as our hosts whose genuine consideration, humour and attention to detail made our stay very memorable. A very exceptional place with probably the most beautiful garden in all of New Zealand. The hosts are just lovely and so amiable. We had a wonderful time with great breakfast in the morning for an excellent start into the day. A perfect b&b :)

Loretta is a wonderful host and the house and garden are beautiful! There was a coffee and tea corner with a variety to choose from, breakfast was delicious and everything was clean and fresh. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom spacious.

Extremely well equipped. So many little things had been thought of e.g emergency sanitary products, shaving gel, beach towels etc Nice big comfy bed and TV to watch after a long day exploring. Nice and quiet and can walk in to town quite quickly but the river is a little further. Lovely outdoor area for own use. Property was very clean.
