The staff here are very friendly and enthusiastic, and provide a lot of practical information on traveling to Machu Picchu. There is also free tea and water in the hotel lobby. The hotel is very clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water. It is located in the city center but it is not noisy. There are also a cheap and delicious roast chicken restaurant and a bakery downstairs. It is the best choice for backpackers who want to save money.

The rooms were very clean and cozy. They waited for us at the train station. The location is just perfect and even though it's right in front of the train station all the noise was isolated. They allowed us to keep our luggage at the reception after check out.

Was reading mixed reviews about the noise. After 9 was quiet and o had a very good sleep before macchu pichu. One girl lesa (?) as extremely kind and helpful. Very nice breakfast too. Recommend!

    The couple running the hostel are absolutely lovely. They are so friendly and happy to help with everything - restaurant recommendations, booking bus tickets to Machu Picchu, giving general advice for Machu Picchu, booking a private guide etc. The breakfast included was amazing too - fruits, egg, bread etc. - perfect meal before setting off to Machu Picchu. The room itself was great with a private bedroom and a view of the scenery outside. The hostel was spotless and in a great location.

    Clean, spacious rooms, super accommodating staff, great location close to the thermal baths and waterfall. Aguas Calientes is a surprisingly quaint little town. If you look for relaxation and good atmosphere I recommend staying a couple of nights.
