The light in the room is strong and could be arranged better but it is fine for one night. Be careful, the access to the hotel is not easy if you have many luggages. It takes 15 minutes from the parking to reach the hotel but once you arrive the view is amazing. Food is tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was very clean and the views from it were very nice! Additionally, you can have a hot shower, which is something not guaranteed in these remote villages of Ifugao. And the best part is the staff, I got the chance to talk with both the mother and some of her daughters and they were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Oh, and the homemade meals they prepare are delicious, don't miss them!! I would definitely go there again if I ever come back to Batad.

The host is really nice and gives you good recommendations on what to do when you are staying there. She will arrange everything for you so you don’t have to worry about anything- you can also eat there if you want to! Everything else is nice as well, it’s clean, comfortable and quiet!

This homestay is one of the best we encountered in the Philippines! The room was big and very clean, as well as the bathroom. The toiletries and toilet paper provided were also a good surprise. The staff is so so nice! They make you feel at home and they really go the extra mile to help you when needed (they went to the bus station to book our bus tickets while we were away on a tour). The accommodation is a bit far from the city Center, but they have a restaurant so we didn’t find the location to be an inconvenient. The restaurant serves a good variety of good food in (very) large portions, for reasonable prices. Additionally, one major advantage is that you can take your breakfast/lunch while looking over the Banaue rice terraces, and that was really priceless ! We also booked a tour with their guide, David, and I absolutely recommend it! We had a blast, David was very nice and knowledgeable about the rice terraces. The tour was very affordable (although I don’t know the prices of other local guides). He even drove us to the bus terminal with all our luggage on the day we left for Manila.

This is a fantastic place out in the middle of spectacular views. The family were so welcoming. It is wonderful to see people appreciating their culture and giving so much back. It is a window onto a preserved heritage. The museum and artifacts acquired over generations is amazing.

My stay at Cristina's inn couldn't have been better. It's such a cozy place, and Cristina and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, so I got a "home away from home" feeling from the first day. The location on the main village is perfect, right on the rice fields of Batad, and the view from there is just spectacular. There are good hiking options in the area, but it's also a great place to just chill and have some peaceful days :) I hope I will come back, salamat!!!

Lhoren and her family are welcoming and helpful. Lhoren is amazing, she can satisfy any need you may have. We extended our stay because we felt like home. The place is located in a beautiful village with stunning views and amazing people. You can book transport or tours with her and she also provides good food, the breakfast is delicious. Be prepared for some stairs to get there but the effort is more than worth it. You can also do nice treks and visit an impressive waterfall. Lhorens also taught us how to pound rice and it was a good an experience that made us aware how much effort it takes to cultivate and obtain some rice. The whole stay was simply perfect!!! Would highly recommend it

How amazing is the owner and her family of Cool Breeze Lodge and Cafe! Very new, clean, nice decor, great food all day and the stunning view of Banaue and the Rice Terraces. A 3 minute walk to the Tourist Office, vans to Sagada, Bonton and the museum. A further 3 minutes walk and you will find yourself in the market square with jeepneys, motorbikes, tricycles, shops, food and the height of activity. There is parking or ask to arrange a private driver.

The hotel staff was very enthusiastic in telling us stories about the Philippines and the rice terraces from the past to the present, which raised my resolution about the Philippines and its World Heritage sites, and I had a wonderful few days. They are always on standby in the morning and at night to cook for me!
