The villa itself is beautifully designed — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with traditional Balti touches that give it both character and charm. Waking up to panoramic views of the mountains and the sound of flowing water was the kind of peaceful moment I didn’t know I needed. What stood out most, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming — not just polite, but genuinely kind. They were always ready with a cup of chai, local stories, or travel tips that made exploring Skardu even more meaningful. The food? Deliciously homemade! Every meal felt personal — from freshly cooked parathas at breakfast to traditional Balti dishes for dinner. The best part was the villa’s location — close enough to explore famous spots like Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and Shigar Fort, yet secluded enough to feel like your own private hideaway in the mountains. A hidden gem in the heart of Skardu! We had a fantastic stay at this newly opened guesthouse! The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views of the mountains. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful One of the highlights was that they organized local tours with their own vehicle, making it very easy for us to explore the beautiful surroundings without any hassle. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, and the quiet garden space was perfect for unwinding after a day full of adventure Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu - a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and local experiences. We'll definitely be back!

His cooperation & facilities are exceptional since picking from the airport till your departure/check out from the hotel, transport services are also available within a reasonable prices. I want to thank Danish for being a very kind and excellent host. With the price I paid, the servcies were exceptional, specially the fresh breakfast. It is located not far from the center and within local villages.

From opening the gate we were greeted with smiles and open arms. It’s a family run place and everyone helps out. This is an amazing location for a family. They have large indoor and outdoor areas all of which are clean, new and very well maintained. They have facilities to wash clothes, reliable hot showers and a big area for parking. We had a car and trailer and it was no problem. Nothing was ever a problem. We would 100% recommend the Taaj Residence!

The hotel has so clean room and private bathroom. Also it is located on the center of Skardu and could feel a daily life of Skardu people. More over the manager, named Arslan, was really kind and can fanatically speak English well. Although I visited Skardu for the first time, I could enjoy historical places without any problem. I recommend this hotel!!!! Also, if I visit the city again, I will select this hotel again!!!
