It is not easy to find nice value for a price near the Volcano National Park in Rwanda. Isange Hotel is just like that. Of course, it takes time to travel to the main gate, but one or another way you'll be on your own transport there. Breakfast was great and huge! Lots of fresh fruit. Friendly hosts, fast kitchen and tasty dishes. Rooms were spotless with modern fixtures. Highly recommend - slightly outside Musanze town, and therefore much quieter than some of the other go-to affordable inns.

We loved the setting - eating breakfast in the outdoors while having all the volcanoes in view. The staff were super friendly and great to chat with. Michael was provided very helpful advice regarding transport and directions, as well as insights into the culture of Rwanda. Since rain was a possibility, they offered the room and tent for us to use as we prefer during our stay. Also very good local food!
