the hotel is like a dream place. You will find peace the moment you enter inside. please do not call outside for desert tours. they provide support on the tour and the tour picks you up at the door. There is a very caring and courteous reception about everything. The housekeeping staff even folded and gathered the clothes we distributed and put them in our suitcase. This is THE PLACE for vegetarians/vegans. Fatima worked at a vegetarian restaurant in Belgium, and is now cooking amazing vegetarian dinners for guests. I spent a month in Tunisia, and this was the only place where I was able to appreciate the diversity of local cuisine as a vegetarian. Our stay was wonderful! And the location is perfect, from here you can visit the dessert, the salt flats and many canyons in a rental car, no need for 4x4 car and no need for expensive tours. The roads to most places have now been paved and unpaved roads are in good condition too. Thank you so much to Fatima for taking such good care of us from breakfast and dinners to extra blankets and helping us to get the best haircut!

Great guesthouse with nice room, a rooftop and pool. Comfortable outdoor lounge area downstairs and very helpful staff. The guesthouse also offers guided tours and we can highly recommend Said if you like high speed desert adventures! Really the highlight of our stay. It’s a bit far to the city centre if you don’t have a car, about 30min, but if you’re looking for something a bit cheaper in Touzeur we can definitely recommend it!

The staff and house The owner was really kind and friendly. He speaks really good English so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier. Of course, the house was nice and clean. The atmosphere at the house was comfortable!!!

We were so happy to find Dar Fatima. First we were not sure how noisy it would be because it is located right in the middle of the city and surrounded by two mosques. We all slept through the night and the morning calls to prayer were so brief that we were not awoken by them. Immediately we booked the second night stay. The location proved to be ideal. After strolling around the hustle and bustle of the medina, when you come back to Dar Fatima, it is peaceful and quiet like you are leaving all the noise behind you, outside the door. The entire premise is super clean and neat. What I like the most is the comfy bed with luxurious bed sheets. Rooms are so cozy, you can tell the owners pay a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was plentifully provided and the handmade bread was so delicious. Don't miss the view from the rooftop terrace. If you don't know where to visit in the area, the owner will be more than happy to suggest various routes depending on your interests.

Nice location, near Medina. Beautiful, hidden gem. The host, Issam, was very helpful, picked up our luggages from the street and brought to the room, even when we left helped with our luggages. The atmosphere calm and serene. Swimming pool relaxing. Breakfast was simple. The place was difficult to find initially. It is an alley. The room that was given to us initially was not satisfactory, no lock, poor lightening but he gave another room, which was just excellent.

Spacious and clean property. No other guests at the time so it was like having a self contained flat all to ourselves. There was a smart TV in the lounge so the kids were happy. You can walk into town in 5mins. Good air con. Very friendly host who spoke good english and was helpful

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right across from the bus station and such a great central spot to do all the tourist attractions my friend and I had planned. Had the BEST time in tozeur and highly recommend staying here for the value.
