The location could not be better for a couple of days in Ho Chi Minh. Very comfortable bed, quiet location, great breakfast but most worth mentioned is the fantastic staff. Moon, Lee and the team made my stay to the greatest. They were available at on site and on WhatsUp 24/7, always there to give honest and great local travel tips, this made me feel safe as a solo traveler. Without asking they upgraded my room and when I checked out 3 am due to an night bus they had prepared a take away breakfast for me. Could not give Jan Hostel any other rating than 10/10!

Breakfast was great! fresh fruits, yogurt, hot breakfast choices, located in a quiet lane off the busy street but walking distance to the market, restaurants and a small supermarket right opposite. Annie and her team are just wonderfully hospitable and so helpful, we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful family, lovely even with the language barrier. Daisy's English is great and growing. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The location is far enough that you feel immersed in local culture and close enough that grabs to District 1 aren't expensive at all. The patio and roof top were just the cherry on top of a beautiful place.

This is a hidden gem - I only stayed one night before flying out but would have loved to stay longer. The room is nice and quiet with a balcony where one can do yoga in the morning or relax in the hammock at night. The couple who runs it are super sweet. It’s in a great location and I loved the two dogs and cat living in the house.
