We are a Swedish couple in our mid 30's that have been backpacking and traveling the world in both Asia, central America, South America, Europe, Ocean etc. Many times for many years. This place is just amazing, the area and garden is beautiful and the room itself is lovely! Seriously it is huge and the pictures of the room are great but it does not justify how really good it is. The owners Richard and Marja are super friendly and polite and are excellent in welcoming you with information of the area and room with a fast check in. We would have stayed at least 3 nights just to relax but our schedule was unfortunately already set for a couple of days in advance... Our recommendation is to book a minimum of 2 nights and enjoy the nature. The kitchen is super new and well equipped, you can easily cook a nice dinner and have it on the porch in the sound of the nature. Overall this place was much more than we expected and it made the whole trip to bathurst awesome. We will be back if we get the opportunity. The breakfasts at the Lookout were just exceptional! Everything was done to perfection. Generous portions that always delighted everyone. Thank you for such great food and service! We loved it. The location in my opinion is the best that Port Alfred has to offer! That view is priceless.

The room overlooking the sea was just breathtaking. The room is huge, clean and well organised. The bathroom is the star of the whole room, i honestly feel like the pictures on the site doesnt capture how beautiful it is. Ed our host was friendly and lovely.
