We felt accommodated from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The dinners left us entirely full and we still had food on our plates and every question - including, what fruit is on these trees, was left answered. If you would like to stay somewhere where you feel at home, comfortable and safe - book here. My favourite moment was when the host was knocking on the door opposite ours, telling them that they’d made him lunch (which hadn’t been asked for) to prepare them for the early wake up and trekking day ahead. The hosts are incredibly generous, welcoming and considerate. If you wish to experience feeling like you’ve stumbled on your Albanian grandparents home - they will feed you, house you in a clean and lovely home and welcome you.

My 4 friends and I stayed for 3 nights here and we had an absolutely incredible stay, especially thanks to the staff working there who were always smiling, joking and spreading good vibes. On top of that, the rooms were comfortable, the location couldn't be better and all in all we just had a perfect stay. And don't even get me started on the breakfast buffet. 🔥 Thanks guys! 🫡🇦🇱

A continental breakfast is available at Fryma e Bjeshkeve. This was the perfect place to stay in Theth. The room was comfortable and cosy, everything was brand new. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The owner was very lovely, she prepared us a huge breakfast every morning which was perfect fuel for the hikes we did. I cannot recommend it enough.

I stayed at Serenity Guesthouse for two nights, and my experience was truly exceptional. The more I praise this property, the less it feels. What makes it special is not just the location, but the incredible people behind it. The guesthouse is run by Paulin, with his wife Olga and daughter Pamela, and they are among the warmest, most genuine people I met during my entire trip in Albania. Their hospitality was beyond expectations — down to earth, caring, and always making me feel at home. The effort they put into everything, from preparing delicious breakfasts to guiding and helping with local information, was outstanding. It felt less like staying in a guesthouse and more like being welcomed into a family. The location is perfect, right in the center of Theth Valley, surrounded by nature. All major attractions are within walking distance (just 2–3 km in the hills), but honestly, you could simply sit on the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking valley views without going anywhere. This was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Serenity Guesthouse — it’s not just accommodation, it’s a true Albanian hospitality experience.

At the guest house, all units are soundproof. The units are equipped with heating facilities. This was an “experience” location. The hosts are amazing and Nebije is very anxious to make your stay lovely. She runs her own business with looms to make rugs and other products as well as running the B&B. It was amazing to see her work in her home with her employees and watch the three of them make the rugs. We videoed them and what a treasure to see the process. She’s very proud of the tradition and art form and with good reason!!! The rooms are nice and very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. The only challenge is the drive and the steepness with a lot of stairs. Don’t book if you can’t climb stairs. Breakfast was all homemade and fresh and brought right on time.

Beautiful setting, very nice spacious newly done rooms, great shower, very comfortable bed, local pets, breathtaking scenery, having dinner on the patio with view of the stars and mountains, very friendly hosts, very peaceful

At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. I had booked one night before and one night after my trip to Valbona/Theth. However, the first night I got relocated to another place because there was some problem with the electricity in the room that I had booked. This was not a problem at all for me because that room was also nice and nearby and Niko the host communicated with me about it so I knew where I would go. I could also leave some of my luggage there during my hiking trip and Niko transported it for me to Enea  Room where it waited for me when I got back. The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the communication with Niko was good throughout and he even texted me to check if everything was ok, or if I needed anything.
