Drinks are served from the bar, during lunch and dinner dining hours. We had a fantastic experience. Jane, the manager, was so helpful and very friendly. The staff was amazing! The food was excellent. We saw so many kangaroos outside our room. It was a magical place.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The property is soundproof and is situated 38 km from Christmas Cove Marina. The place and hosts are AMAZING. True professionals of hospitality: very warm and kind people, everything they prepared was first-class or better. The place is clean and cozy, place in a nice location between Kingscote and Pennshaw (American River). There are koalas walking around! They managed to heat the room very creatively by inserting heating lights in the bathroom. There is a view of the ocean from the window, the room is very well equipped, and they even put umbrellas in the closet. The breakfast was outstanding: delicious, and the hosts did their best to listen to us and satisfy are - demanding! - requests. They were very helpful and suggested nice trips which we indeed did and were very satisfied with.

Everything was excellent, beautiful outdoor sitting area, the kitchen / common living area has a big window where you can watch kangaroos drink water, the rooms were comfortable. Saw a good amount of kangaroos passing through. Kitchen well stocked with kitchen supplies used for cooking. Keep the bird feeder full of water and the kangaroos will keep coming!!

Wedgetaildown is located in Parndana and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Property was in a great location, centrally located for everything we wanted to experience whilst on Kangaroo Island. The accommodation was spacious, stylishly furnished and spotlessly clean. Facilities and amenities were very thoughtfully considered - we wanted for nothing. We saw many kangaroos and echidna from the accommodation window - wildlife heaven! Would highly recommend and if we are fortunate enough to return to Kangaroo Island, we would 100% stay there again.

Cozy property, very nice location, great service, peaceful and serene with the aura & greenery around. WiFi worked well, had a homely feeling with the hospitality of the owner. Value for the buck. Worth attending.

Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. Everything! Very comfortable, cosy and functional. Loved the peace and quiet and the variety of friendly birds around. Being on a sheep farm was amazing, although you were never close or bothered by the animals. Very grateful for the flexible check out times. Simply a wonderful stay.
