It was the perfect getaway: the place is at the edge of the town, right behind it the forest starts and it's only a 2 minute walk from the center with restaurants, bakery, etc. Oscar, our host, is just the best host ever: he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He prepared an excellent, 4* hotel level breakfast for us and made sure that we have everything we need during our stay. Our dog was warmly welcomed by him and he was allowed to do more than at home. :) We had an excellent experience and will surely return.

It has modern facilities and is decorated with exceptional taste and an eye for detail. Frédéric is incredibly welcoming and always goes above and beyond. It's hard to describe what a great host he is. A great conservationalist, but never overbearing. The breakfast he served was always a great start to the day.

Situated in Durbuy, in a historic building, 35 km from Plopsa Coo, Au doux Chardon is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. My boyfriend and I really wanted to find a place where we could disconnect for a little and also be as close to nature as possible. And let me tell you that, this place is honestly speaking the most beautiful, most welcoming, most relaxing place I've ever stayed at when travelling. The host, France, is such a sweet, generous, and calming lady. I have honestly never felt this welcomed and listened to. She is so genuine, and you can see she loves what she does. She really takes her time with her clients to get to know them, make them feel welcome, and make sure their experience suits exactly what they were looking for. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing experience, being able to enjoy our morning tea, in the beautiful garden which we had access to. The breakfast also had a bit of everything, which is perfect. The room is perfectly equipped, clean, and really cosy. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about our experience there. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a bit of tranquillity in nature, along with different types of excursions and long walks in nature that are in the area! (France has prepared a few for every client and can show you where to go to have a good experience). I, therefore, want to thank France for her beautiful energy and for the experience my boyfriend and I got to have there, which truly made our trip just like we wanted it to be.
