At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. Very Unique stay, converted iron ore silo. Staff was fantastic and accomadating. We actually wish we had arived a little earlier as we would have gone on one of the mine tours in the little train, but thats on us, we could not make an earlier arrival possible.

What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

The place was overall comfortable and crossed my expectations. I checked-in very late around 9:30p.m. & I would not recommend it as the street lights are not enough and It was difficult for me to identify the place. If you reach before sunset, it is indeed an amazing stay. The host is very humble and welcoming.

Martina was an excellent host! The breakfast was incredible, checkin was smooth and we had no issues with sharing a bathroom. There is a beautiful backyard to eat in. We came from a really long cycle ride and Martina went out of her way to pick up our pizza order as the restaurant across the road was on vacation. Perfectly matches the description

Boasting quiet street views, Kiki's B&B features accommodation with a terrace, around 1.1 km from Badischer Bahnhof. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is allergy-free and is situated less than 1 km from Messe Basel. The breakfast was beautifully laid out and was delicious. Kiki and Rolf were delightful people and there were many extra little touches. The back yard was very welcoming to relax and enjoy a little happy hour. The room was very roomy and comfortable. We were greeted with the biggest smile from both Rolf & Kiki.

The apartment of Casa Esperanza has a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and a private bathroom. The studio and the double room have shared bathroom facilities and an electric kettle. Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.

Offering a garden and garden view, B&B Pappelweg - 2 is situated in Muttenz, 2.9 km from Schaulager and 3.9 km from Kunstmuseum Basel. It is set 4.1 km from Basel Cathedral and offers luggage storage space. The property features a children's playground and parking on-site. Gisela and Celestine were fantastic hosts. The house was pristine clear, the bed was very comfortable and they were very helpful not only with check in, parking, breakfast, but also gave a lot of tips and good stories about Basel and their own lives. I’d book this place just to spend the day hearing about their lives and their trips.
