Astrid was very hospitable, kitchen was very well-equipped, generally clean and modern, with space to spread out, and less than 5 min to Siebnen-Wangen train station. There's also a book that tells you about the history of the hotel (in German only). Very cosy place to stay.

Some of the units feature a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a shower and slippers. At the bed and breakfast, some units are fitted with a kettle and chocolates or cookies. This place was delightful in every way. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the host and one of her five children. We were shown around our room and to the kitchen, which we were free to use. The room was beautifully set up, with lovely touches including a jug of drinking water on the table, and some individually wrapped cookies, which were vegan (a bonus for us, as usually we can't eat any chocolates or cookies). A little later, the host came to see us again with another of her children, to collect our payment. Again, their interaction with us was extremely warm and friendly. The room had a wonderful wall-length heater, which kept it warm, and a really nice combination of lighting, including a standing lamp with a dimmable bulb, and bedside lights. The bathroom was immaculate. The shower screen was so clean that it looked brand new - it had no streaks or water/soap marks on it, and the towels were folded to perfection. We spent two nights here but could have stayed longer due to how lovely it was. On the morning of our departure, the host came to see us to make sure we said goodbye when we left. She was so friendly and lovely. I cannot fault this place at all; it easily deserves a 10 out of 10.

The accommodation offers ski storage space, as well as a garden and barbecue facilities. The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available. (Summer holiday). Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.
