The little cottage we stayed in was in the garden…beautifully private and quiet. We loved hearing the birds in the bushes and trees next to the terrace. The cottage was spotlessly clean and kitchen, although small, very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and although no air con…the fan worked very well.

We stayed during the worst rain event in recent history so we were stuck in the room most of our trip and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had to change dates due to road outages and they were very helpful. They brought us warm muffins one day and were always asking how they could help. Even in the rain, the view was so pretty. Every time the rain let up, even if only for a few minutes, you could start to see the birds and butterflies and one very funny squirrel. The bed was comfortable and even with the dampness of the weather, there was no musty smell, which in CR is really something. The room was so clean and smelled so fresh. Now the highlight of our day was the breakfast! Different every day and fresh and really yummy! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Even the owner came out every morning to chat and ask how he could help with our day. I highly recommend this place and would love to return when it’s sunny!!! lol
