The beds with the individual lights and the curtains, makes it feel private while being bunk beds. The room is very big, with AC, big cushions, tables, and there's a kitchen. There's also a swimming pool. The place is in the middle of the rainforest so there are a lot of birds and fireflies.

Great location, plenty of wildlife. Very relaxing environment. Friendly staff. Good food. Despite unfortunate technical problems with the room, we had a lovely time.

After 3 months backpacking and sleeping in cheap accommodations, we decided to go above budget and booked the Birding Lodge. It was worth every penny. We cooled down by the pool, observed scarlet macaws and capuchin monkeys, enjoyed fantastic sunset views, gazed at starry skies and slept peacefully. Furthermore, we were able to walk to Carara and the crocodiles bridge. Federico and Alba were very welcoming and, knowing we will come/leave by bus, they picked us and dropped us to the bus stop on the main road. Fast WiFi and free coffee.

Started great with the check in process. We were arriving late so we had to check in without a person there, but we got pictures of where to go and different instructions. The hut was great beeing spacious, a good private kitchen a nice bathroom and three comfortable beds. The view in the morning was amazing, calm and we felt like we were in a sort of paradise. The pool and out doors area looked fantastic and great places to relax and enjoy the view. The breaks was also good. Wished we could stay there longer.

Absolutely amazing. Excellent food, staff, and unbelievable location on private nature reserve with incredible plants and wildlife.

The room was extremely luxurious: the private pool was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The room was spacious and really clean. Expensive room, but worthwhile.

amazing property, great ocean view, private pool, huge space, beautiful furnitures, style , design , comfort and tranquility. much better than any place we stayed in Costa Rica, including 5 star hotels In Arenal area. when you go to this suites, you don’t want to leave. be careful, and Pura vida ))
