Sergio is a really lovely host who’s really looking after his guests making sure that they have everything they need. It was the best place I’ve been to during my trip to Costa Rica. There was a little issue with the shower of the bedroom but Sergio was super nice and proactive to provide a solution. I was also lucky to benefit from an upgrade and stay for the same price in the most beautiful room with a view on the ceiba! Well in a nutschell is was amazing !

Situated in Carrillo and only 200 metres from Carrillo Beach, La Puesta del Sol B&B features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Close to the beach and a great breakfast.

Natalie and Yannick are very kind and helpful. We loved every bit of our stay there! The road, depending on which route you take can be an adventure, but we even loved that, including the small creek crossings! We had howler monkeys sleep above our little cabin and woke up to their vocal activity, which was incredible!! We absolutely loved our stay!

The place itself is a few minutes walk from nightlife but far enough for the peace and quiet. The staff were really friendly and excited to help. Out of my 7 day stay in Costa Rica, this was the most relaxing.

At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with a patio. Every unit has a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, while certain rooms include a fully equipped kitchen equipped with an oven. At the bed and breakfast, all units come with bed linen and towels. We really enjoyed our time at antema lodge. The hosts were very welcoming, the pool is super nice and refreshing and you feel like being in the jungle, seeing monkeys and iguanas. Apart from that you have a nice yoga area and a little jungle gym with some weights. The rooms were very clean and also modern. There is free coffee as well.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can make the most of yoga classes offered in-house. Sightseeing tours are available in the surrounding area. Guests at Casa Donna Rosa B&B can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. We could not have asked for more. Carlos, our host, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, the place was clean, quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, near facilities and we could park our motorcycles in a sheltered parking spot. Definitely strongly recommended.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes a private bathroom. I feel lucky that I chose this place just based on seeing it online. I might have chosen a different place because I'd never been to Samara before, so I'm so glad I ended up here. It is a special place that grew on me the longer I stayed. It's in a perfect location that is convenient for the commercial area and main beach of Samara, but a little bit set back where it was more peaceful and a little bit wild. The staff were so helpful and warm and professional; this is why people love Costa Rica--the hospitality of the Ticos. They asked me if I had dietary restrictions, because the breakfast offerings changed each day (and they were all delicious with fresh ingredients--and with very generous portions). It's a smaller property with not so many rooms, so it's pretty quiet and the other guests were all respectful of privacy and keeping noise down. After a long day exploring the local areas, this was such a great spot to come back to and truly relax. There are a couple of really good Costan Rican sodas nearby and I also rented a bike to go further afield. One of my favorite things to do here was to go for a dip in the pool right around sunset, when everyone else was either going to dinner or the beach for the sunset. The whole area came alive with the sounds of wildlife: howler monkeys, cicadas, so many different birdsongs, and some other mysterious Costa Rican animal sounds I did not recognize (????) I just floated in the pool and listened to the sounds of Costa Rica and was truly relaxed and calm. The staff were super helpful with any practical questions about things like transportation, laundry, anything you need in town. The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The wifi was lightning fast and checkin and checkout were really easy.
