Carole and Paul are excellent hosts with an amazing property! We had some difficulties traveling but they stayed up late to greet us and had special accommodations for us too. The breakfasts were fabulous! We lost power one morning but Carole and Paul still had hot coffee, hot water for tea, and a warm breakfast for all the guests. The rooms are as beautiful as the photos and are very comfortable. The bed was comfortable too.I especially loved watching all the birds and meeting other guests at breakfast. I highly recommend staying here! We will certainly stay again next time we are in Nuevo Arenal!

She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.

This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B offers free private parking. Stunning views, infinity pool looking over Lake Arenal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Onsite restaurant was very convenient and the food was delicious. Variety of breakfast options. Highly recommend.
