The hostess is very communicative, Gloria makes your stay pleasant due to the tours and advices she offers, the tours were guided by her husband, Sergio who speaks English as well, has lots of knowledge and the fact that you were in a private tour and transported from the Cabins to the tour and viceversa. It’s very secure and lovely

Quiet clean rooms with comfortable beds, individual A/C in our room, private bathroom and good shower. Safe and private. Well-equipped kitchen and a delightful covered patio to relax. We spotted a variety of birds, iguana, and a far off monkey from there. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the boat dock, and the Tortuguero National Park. Oscar has his on boat with a quiet trolling motor, and he gave us an early morning boat tour of the National Park canals. He’s wonderful guide at spotting wildlife- many birds, spider monkeys, caiman, lizards.

There wasn’t much to not like! We had an amazing stay! They tell you that you have to pay cash but this is not true. They accept credit cards. It also says there’s no wifi. But the wifi totally works fine. The AC was amazing. The rooms were spacious. It’s right in front of the beach. It’s walking distance to the town. The staff was very helpful. Thank you for making our experience in Tortuguero amazing!

She went above and beyond, offering great advice and seamlessly booking our tours and transfers. We stayed in the Casa behind the main building—it was quiet (aside from the usual dogs barking), spotless, and had comfy beds, great pillows, and much-needed AC. Breakfast was excellent. You won’t find a better place to stay!

At the guest house, every unit includes bed linen and towels. We spent only 1 night to do a night tour. The room was very nice, super clean, with AC, which was so important as it was too hot outside. The house is just in front of the sea so you can hear at night the sound of the waves, it was so relaxing. Also, in the room there were coffee, tea, and some candies. We really loved our stay here. I booked this hostel 15 minutes before we turned up as the place we arrived at beforehand was covered in bedbugs. Jose was able to accommodate 14 people at the drop of a hat as he has just refurbished and renovated the hostel. The showers were brilliant, the guest space was huge. Coffee and tea facilities available all day. Several fans in the room. Washing service available. Jose couldn’t do enough for us!
