All rooms feature antique marble bathrooms with corner bathtubs for 2 people, and views over the medieval town. Absolutely magical building and room. Kind staff. Centrally situated in Rothenburg, this family-run hotel is housed in historic buildings dating from the 16th century. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the Klosterstüble is 300 metres from Rothenburg Market Square.

Elegant rooms at the Klosterstüble are traditionally furnished, and some feature exposed wooden beams. Each romantically styled room comes complete with a stylish private bathroom. This was probably our favourite hotel for our entire stay in Bavaria. It's a very old building that has been beautifully converted into a hotel. We stayed in the family room and it was beautifully designed to create private spaces. Parking was easy, we parked on the street directly outside the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening - it was very nice and was traditional Bavarian cuisine. The location is perfect for exploring the old town. I would definitely stay here again.

Veste Coburg is 31 km away and Bayreuth New Palace is 47 km from the bed and breakfast. Host was very nice and helpful. Excellent room, very clean and comfortable and sauna was really good.

Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).

A recently renovated guest house situated in Mittelkalbach, Pension Kalbach by Marion features a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The accommodation features private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. Everything was really good, a very pleasant hostess showed me the ropes and off I went!
