Lovely little hostel with insane views over the mountains. The room was little but very comfy. The host and the lama are super nice. Great location, in the city centre. 5 minutes (1.50 USD) from the Bus terminal. We stayed two nights and we went for a day trip to Quilotoa by public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Everything was nice and clean and we liked the quiet location. It’s just a little walk to the city Center.
The staff was great - very friendly and provided helpful information. The shower had hot water, and the wood stove heated the room nicely. Dinner and breakfast were both solid with plentiful tasty food. It’s not a luxury hotel, but extremely charming and well-maintained. Excellent value for money. It is also well-situated between the town and crater access and the bus stop right outside of town.
Excellent position on Quilotoa loop, with great food provided for dinner and breakfast (veggie and food intolerances easily catered for). Optional packed lunches were also great, and cheap ($3). Rooms were quiet and comfortable, and showers warm. Property has spa ($3), although we didn’t use this. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
Very cheap and quiet hostel Good room
Viola, the owner, is the sweetest person ever! Great location right on the central town square. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room facing away from it. But it gets quiet by about 10 PM anyway.
