The location is in the nicest part of Bergerac and short walking distance to everything. In between activities the house feels like home to rest in the lounge, kitchen or spacious bedroom. Our 3 hosts were delightful and so hospitable.

Monique and William were exceptionally welcoming, even giving us a ride before our friends' wedding and suggesting some local activities. Breakfast in the garden, with fresh local products, was a real treat. Each room is uniquely decorated with thoughtful vintage touches to reflect the style of a famous French figure (we were lucky to get Brigitte Bardot's suite). It's clear how much care and passion they've put into renovating this beautiful old building. Les Rocailles has a charm all its own—highly recommended!
