The majordomo - the man of the house - took great care in explaining everything and taking care of us and other guest during our stay making us feel welcomed. They offer a good number of vegetarian and vegan options and these are not an afterthough. Their modest library cointains books on local hikes that we took advantage of. Location of the the accomodation is also pretty good. On a map, it might look far from the Buxton center or from the train station but that appears like that only on the map. Buxton is a small town and it's about 15 minutes from the train station and maybe 7 minutes to the main square where buses leave from. It's also a short walk from the Solomon's temple up on one of the hills overlooking Buxton.
