Edinburgh is 15 km from the bed and breakfast. The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 10 km from the property. We loved that we were away from the city yet the train station into Edinburgh was a 5 min walk away and for £6.10 and a half hour trip we were in the city. Chris and Claire were exceptional hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us in every way. Our room was very clean and well supplied and although we didn’t have breakfast there the dining area was very nice and breakfast smelled delicious. Very good value for the money and the view from the deck ,where we sat and enjoyed the first evening ,was gorgeous . We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh and area. The bed was so comfortable that we slept in and the shower was wonderful too. There was also a great bathtub for those who prefer one.

The breakfast was lovely fresh fruit , homemade granola , fabulous. John is a very good host he makes sure your stay is relaxt. The view of the Falkland Palace is great ! And the garden is beautiful and a nice place
