It had a really good combination of privacy in our room as well as comfortable common areas that made it feel like we were just staying with the family. Nicky was able to accommodate us for the guided tour (a later start time) and I'm so glad it worked out - the tour was one of my favorite parts of the overall trip to Scotland.

Debbie knows how to spoil a person! I must say facecloths were a welcome surprise and the strong enough coffee and fresh fruit at breakfast was the best!

You can visit the nearby Kicthener Memorial (not to crowded) and there is only a short drive to the main attractions. Robert is a very friendly host and is willing to give a good advice or two on what to see on Orkney. Hopefully we will be back sometime in the near future.
