At the guest house, the units have a private bathroom. This family run guest house helped us feel at home when we most needed to feel comfortable. No one likes getting sick while on vacation, but our son managed to catch a very bad bug and needed medical attention. That's when Deborah, the host, helped us. She gave us information about British system, and was flexible about some of the breakfast issues (son wouldn't eat, etc). She's very gracious! As for the property, our room was spacious, with two sitting chairs overlooking the streets below. Our room (a triple) had a fridge ) Because we had to stay in, it turned out to be a great place to relax while my son slept (unlike some cramped rooms). If weather is nasty, I can imagine people wanted to stay in, have tea, and read. Overall, it's great to see that local, family guest houses still exist. And ones like this one, managed by Deborah, are a wonderful place to stay.
