There's a bus stop just around the corner. The room has an ensuite bath with a good tub/shower. Everything was perfectly clean. I did not use the breakfast service but the kettle in the room was nice for tea or coffee. Elizabeth was very helpful and kind, and knew all about the area.

Our room had a kettle and a good selection of teas and coffees. Our host gave us fresh milk on arrival. The ensuite was a great size, clean and warm and we were given plenty of towels. Our host was the nicest, we received a lovely warm and friendly welcome and that loveliness remained throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and served with the same warm and friendly manner we received upon arrival. Our host took an interest without being intrusive. The area is peaceful and our room has views of fields. No traffic. We visited nearby towns and found walks we really enjoyed, making it a great location. You can park outside the property which was an added bonus. Felt spoilt to find everything we wanted in one place.

The room was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. The downstairs lounge was charming with amazing and interesting collectibles and furnishing. The host recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant who actually delivered our take away food to us with the host supplying the cutlery & crockery, glasses etc saving us having to go out. There is a village convenience shop across the road which sells beers and wine too. We enjoyed a perfect evening after a most interesting guided tour around the gardens from the owner. A great choice of B & B with a perfect breakfast. Thanks to our hosts.

Set in Symonds Yat, 35 km from Kingsholm Stadium, The Saracens Head Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Offering a bar, the property is located within 50 km of Bristol Parkway Station. Some units at the property feature a balcony with a river view. Excellent location, food and staff were so accommodating as we had a small dog in our group (he stayed at the Royal Lodge) and breakfast was moved and service in the bar area to suit him! Staff were also very forgiving when we set off the fire alarm with a birthday cake candle ! The location is fantastic as we were lucky enough to have the room with balcony overlooking the rope ferry etc !

In the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye, the family-run Bridge House has a large garden overlooking the river. Most rooms have views of the water or the 12th-century ruins of Wilton Castle, just 2 minutes’ walk from the building. Beautiful spot on the river, absolutely amazing views, cozy and welcoming. We loved the shared lounge area, where we could have a cocktail and unwind. Quiet and perfect. Breakfasts are lovely.
