This quaint, historic grade II listed property is 9 minutes' drive from York Dungeon and JORVIK Viking Centre. York Castle Museum is 13 minutes' drive away. The location is very good. We parked car at back yard then walked to the city in 10 minutes. The room is big with two single beds and one double bed. there were also big windows with nice certain. The host peiple are very nice and also introduced the map and tourism places to us. we enjoyed the stay at Burton stone inn and will come again if visit York next time.

Breakfast is served until 10:00 on a weekend, and until 9.30 from Monday to Friday. The location was close to rail and bus centre. A few take aways and resturants around. The building and garden were just lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were all so lovely.

Some rooms have seating areas and impressive sea views, and all rooms have tea/coffee facilities. Very friendly staff! Especially Jenna did really a great job and helped us planning our visit. The breakfast was really tasteful und good! We got everything we want to and food was served using regional products.
