The location is very calm and like a 5 min walk to the beach. El paredon is quite busy and there are some parties, but in Manglare it’s very calm. We liked it. Extra thing is that it is close to the mangroves, where you can rent some kayaks for example. At the end of our stay, we forgot some stuff that was still drying outside. We took contact with Manglare and they immediately were very helpful: they searched for a way to sent us our belongings by express delivery to our next hotel in Flores. Thanks for this service. Highly recommend it!

The best hostel in El paredón, was chilling and clean, the family is very kind, the pool water was clean and blue, Something else I loved was that the beds are very soft and comfortable, I had not been in any hotel in Guatemala with such soft beds. The music from the bar on the property is a bit loud at night so bring ear plugs. The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice. Pakalolo ice cream and the Super 24 on the corner up are very convenient if you want a cool treat or snacks. Potable water available in a large jug and dispenser.
