The hostel staff team was super friendly and they were willing to share their insights with you as locals. I gained many travel suggestions which helped me make the most of Jogja. Every time I came back to the hostel in the evening or left in the morning I was greeted by my friends at Snooze and we usually had a pleasant conversation afterward. They are beyond happy to learn more about their guests and help their guests out. The breakfast was organic and healthy, I was served two meals every morning as I stayed in a double room. They offered a variety of options on each day of my stay and the quality of the food was just amazing. The hostel is located in a tranquil neighborhood but it is also not far from the robust areas of the city. It is only a few minutes away on foot from the Malioboro. You could get to most of the attractions in the city within 10 minutes by motorbike (e.g., Taman Sari and the Kraton), which the staff could help you arrange. The room and the shared bathroom have also been very clean and comfortable and the hygiene has been maintained at a pretty high standard. Snooze is also a place to meet with new friends. I find a lot of traveling people I knew in other cities again at Snooze. I would highly recommend this place for a days-long stay in Jogja and I believe people will come back to the city just because of Snooze.

The food was delicious and great value. The facilities are brand new, stunning, and set in an unreal natural environment with a cozy, zen vibe. It’s surrounded by fields and mountains. We highly recommend staying more than just for Bromo — 2–3 nights or more if you enjoy peaceful nature, waterfalls and a bit of adventure.

The owner helped us get a Bromo Tour. Also it was difficult finding a driver to transport us as we left but the owner dropped us at our next stay. Large bed, good shower and clean room. Just make sure you bring Some food and water as the nearest restaurant is a 22 minute walk.

The local host in charge is an Indonesian couple. They are super friendly and willing to share life stories with guests. Cats and dogs in the facility are well taken care of. It is highly recommended to read the booklet of the "History of Rumah Lereng Bandung" during the stay. In sum, this is one of the best place that I've ever stayed.

We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.
