Set in Huu in the Sumbawa region, with Lakey Beach nearby, Rocky Homestay Lakey offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house provides a garden as well as a terrace.

The accommodation is non-smoking. 2 large sleepingrooms with a double bed, a bathroom and a kitchen with een beautiful terras with Seaview. It was a bit much for the two of us so we asked for one of the smaller rooms (not on Booking yet) after 2 nights. The big one on booking is perfect for 2 couples or a family of four. There is a big refrigerator, 2 stoves a rice cooker. It is 50 meters from the shore and quiet with a large garden. WIFI was fast enough for films. 20 meters to your left a a warung makan and 20 meters to tour right is a restaurant on the beach with western food. Rocky and his wife are sweet and helpfull. The beach and waves of lakeybeach are so perfect that you wonder why is so quiet and unspoilt.

My experience here at Kahurangi was great! The staff was very inviting and helpful from the start! They were very keen to help with whatever I asked for ie. fresh towels or cutleries if I took back food. Gusti, Risti and staff were all amazing people and made my stay in Sumbawa all that much more. I’m definitely coming back here to stay. Rooms were neat and tidy, comfy beds, ac was on point during this time(September), hot showers, they had cold drinking water in the common area so if you had a water bottle, refilling was great! Had a nice pool, good spot to hang when the beach was too windy, couple day beds and few bean bags to lounge around the pool. The location was great, 5 mins walk to yo-yos or 1 min scooter ride. Lisa’s garden is just around the corner or happy resto as well. Would recommend to friends and family! Price is pretty good/affordable per night. Wish I could’ve stayed another week! The apartment is located right in a small village on the coast, so you get to experience a little bit of everyday-live in the area of Kertasari. The Owner was very welcoming, he offered to show me nearby beach breaks for surfing and provided lots of other information and help with any problems :D Would come again for sure :)
