Port Aran House is a beautifully designed B&B in a modern house just outside the relatively busy area of Kilronan where the ferries land. The place is full of first-class local art. My modestly sized room was efficiently organized with a window looking out at the ocean. While it was a bit blustery to take advantage of the big outdoor ocean facing deck, the property has a living room with abundant light. The young couple running the place had a full house when I was there, 2 young kids, and a dog, but they still made time to prepare delicious homemade scones for the self-service breakfast plus check in with their guests daily. My six days at Port Aran House were a gem and a highlight of five weeks in Ireland. Many thanks to Sokha and Kevin.

At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. It was very cozy and authentic. Trish was wonderful and so flexible when our daughter became sick.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderfully convenient area in Kilronan, about a five-minute stroll from the ferry port. The entire place was immaculately clean and the bed very comfortable. All of the staff was kind and helpful. I'm not really a breakfast eater, but the food was so delicious that I ate every morning I was there. I absolutely recommend staying here and I hope to return sooner than later!

Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and comfy. Communal lounge area was comfortable and relaxing and well stocked with reading material about the area. The manager kindly ran us into town in her car. The lodge had a beautiful view. Could walk to a lot of things even though town was a car trip. Loved the location! On site bike hire was fantastic!

Overlooking Kilronan Harbour on Inis Mór Island in County Galway, Pier House offers Bed and Breakfast in a peaceful location off Ireland’s west coast. We are ideally located for you to begin exploring the Aran Islands. Location was amazing. Right off of the pier and a 3 minute walk to the grocery store. Loved the lounge/sitting area where we could hang out as a small group and play games or do a puzzle.
