The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. I loved the ease of checking in and out, the location and the decor of the room.

The Dining Room serves traditional and continental breakfasts, which feature homemade chutneys, banana bread and scones. Afternoon tea can be taken in the elegant Drawing Room. Breakfast was amazing , 5 star Great to get a breakfast of such quality e.g O’Neills bacon and delicious granola

There is a bus stop opposite Donnybrook Hall, with regular Aircoach services running to and from the airport and the city centre. Luggage storage is available at the hotel.

This family-run guest house has rooms with good-quality beds, mattress hygiene care and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. Lovely B&B not far from the city center or Dublin. The host, Martina, was so welcoming and kind, and the room was adorably decorated and very comfortable.

County Carlow Military Museum is 40 km from the bed and breakfast, while Carlow Golf Range incorp. Ian Kerr Golf Academy is 41 km from the property. The room was cozy and superclean, recently renewed and closed to the citycenter (5 min by walk). David is the perfect host!

Good for families. Full kitchen access. Good location for walking to city attractions. The host is very gracious and attentive.
