I love this guesthouse. Is the second time I stay here and they always help you a lot. You never know the schedule of the flights and sometimes you arrive too early or too late. But they make it possible for me to come sooner. I write them so many times with so many questions that I feel bad for bothering them so much but they always answered me immediately and in a very kind and helpful way. They always helps me with everything and I am very grateful for that. That’s something I always appreciate when I am traveling, specially when you are traveling alone. Traveling alone is scary and makes me so nervous so having this experience make it so much better. Also the room was amazing, the price for two nights was very good. What I love the most is the bed is super comfy and I love that you have also a blanket on top of the cover. I like the fact that you can use the kitchen and is big and well equipped. I had a bathroom next to my door and showers to the other side and I never hear anything, it was almost for me alone. Is also very close to the Main Street and bus stops. They also let me leave my luggage there after my check out. I really enjoy my stayed and I am really grateful.

Lovely choice of common sitting areas. Great buffet breakfast - loads of variety and choice. Great location just a short stroll to city centre and shops. Next to the old working marina. Plenty of places to eat nearby but be aware if Icelandic prices - great quality food but not cheap - not the hotel’s fault in any way.
Great location, close to city centre but yet quiet. Helpful instructions before arrival. Parking spot was a plus. Appartment is nicely decorated and welcoming.
Very good price for a single room in Reykjavik, was even cheaper than dorm-beds in some hostels! Good location, only a few minutes walk to city center. Supermarket next door, still the street itself is rather quiet. Very clean and also has basic equipment for cooking.
Great location, very close to city center, still quiet nonetheless. Alfred was really nice. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Great location, right next to supermarket, close to Reykjavik, easy self check in. Kitchen area for prepping food, simple, quiet and private :)
Convenient location with a free parking around the block. Walking distance to the nearby museum and the city centre. The room was fairly large and very warm despite it being at the basement level. Comfy beds and great continental breakfast- a good variety including fresh baked croissants, fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, meat, cheese, coffee and cereals. Due to our busy work schedule we had to work for a couple of hours and that wasn't a problem either - good WiFi and quiet location. Would definitely stay again!
Great location (City centre), Self check in (and out) was easy, and our twin room (with private bathroom) was clean.
Very quaint and boutique. Great location, close to the harbour, the main part of the town and also close to free 24 hour parking. It was very comfortable, very clean. Fantastic breakfast. Not to forget the staff. All were very informative and helpful. You may give up a couple of square meters compared to some out of town stays, but plenty for 5 days worth of winter/autumn clothing storage.
We decided to stay a couple extra nights in Iceland to rest up before traveling home and booked Hlid Fisherman’s village because it is secluded and quiet. It was obviously a labor of love for someone, and it shows. It is a really quaint setup and very private, but we were close enough to drive to restaurants and shopping.
