The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bidet. The room was well laid out, with a double bed and two singles for our boys. We had 4 cabin sized bags, so there was just enough room for all of those too. The bathroom was a good size. There were snacks, a kettle for hot drinks and chilled water in the fridge on arrival. Claudia who greeted us was so lovely and made good contact with us to ensure our check- in was smooth as we were running late with train/bus transfers. The entrance to the building was stunning and the location was great, with some lovely restaurants nearby. The tea place opposite was a hit with us, for drinks and breakfast. TOHOUSE was a great little stopover place for us.

It was easy to find the location and we have got clear instructions from the host about self check-in because we uave arrived late in the evening. There is also opportu ity to park your car in a private parking lot. It has an additional fee but it worths every penny around here if you can get such a parking opportunity. No stress fro finding a free parking lot and figuring out for how long you can leave your car there and how much that would cost etc... Communication with the host was suoer easy and smooth. We even met him when we left and he is a very cool, kind and hospital guy. We can highly recommend this room for any couple if you plan to stay in La Spezia.

If you want to stay in the quiet of this fabulous accommodation you will not be disappointed. San Gimignano is a stunning medieval town close by ..about 10 min by car so this would make a great base for travelling to such towns but is quiet and serene and away from the tourist trap that is San Gimignano.
