The host gave perfect recommendations (go where he tells you, the Okonomiyaki and the cocktail bar were excellent) and even reserved places for us. A really exceptional and kind host who had thought of lots of ways to ensure the stay was perfect. Can’t say enough wonderful things, one of the best places we’ve stayed in Japan and definitely the best host. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

Gojo is a nice little town surrounded by nature and all facilities you might need. We had our own little rental car making it easy to get around. When you have to rely on public transportation your options are more limited. Property itself was very nice with nice facilities and all taken care of wonderfully by Miyuki.

This 2-star guest house offers luggage storage space and bicycle parking. The guest house features family rooms. Yoko-san is a wonderful host, we were only there for one night but we had some great conversations and she also gave great recommendations about nearby things to do. The guesthouse is quite small, so it feels cozy and we felt very welcome. We were only about 15 minutes from the train station, and there were signs that made sure we don't miss the path to get to the guest house, as it's not right on the road.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. the mattresses were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the traditional environment. nara is small, but the location was still very convenient. biking around was excellent

This recently renovated guest house is located 11 km from Iwafune Shrine and 13 km from Nara Station. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !
