Eiju is such a great host, he’s super hospitable and friendly, we had many good yarns together. my stay in Matsushima couldn’t have been any better. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and I was given many cool recommendations of things to do whilst there. I cannot recommend this place enough!

It is always a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, a mix of traditional and technology, You must visit! Close to the station, you can walk to all main attractions of Hiraizumi. The omotenashi of Yamada's are incredible!
