But the route was very convenient and not difficult to drive at all. If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. The view is stunning, and you have to see it with your own eyes.

I love Ainokura during the winter time, staying at Minshuku Yomoshirou was the highlight of my trip, the snow were covering the village makes it extra magical. The owner is very helpful and kind, they were trying to explain the history of the town, about their ancestor and how they use to live in the mountain in the past. It just nice to be able to stay in the Gassho House and learnt about the wonderful Japanese culture.

The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.
