The view from the rooftop tower is great, you can watch the sunrise, the breakfast is delicious, the room is very comfortable, and I had many great conversations with the owner in the evening. I hope the business will continue to improve.

The breakfast is incredible - Jua House has its own bakery, and the staff are the greatest stars of the show.

Beautiful location in Shela village, stunning gardens around the hotel and a short walk to Shela Beach which goes on forever. The restaurant at Kijani is amazing, better than Peponi! Definitely have the Kijani Crab Curry!

It felt like a real home, not an anonymous guest house. The beach was incredibly clean and despite the poverty very little was being hawked so it was truly peaceful. Shela is far preferable to Lamu.

The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!

Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.
