The property is in a very quiet area, with a well-maintained yard and a swimming pool—perfect for hot days. Be sure to try host's seafood platter, but come with an empty stomach :) Shaluka and his wife are incredibly hospitable, and our daughter had a fantastic time playing with their sons. Shaluka’s place is ideal for those planning to visit Yala National Park, as it is only 20 minutes from the park entrance. We would love to stay here again!

After traveling Sri Lanka for 3 weeks, this has absolutely been the best place we’ve stayed at. Everything is well thought of: the welcome, the privacy and interior of the cabanas, the beautiful garden with 2 pools. Breakfast is plenty! Good social aspect too, since they get the breakky and kayaks from local families who are lesser fortunate. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet place to chill out, this is definitely it!

Don is an amazing host who offers information about the area and will also drive you to destinations. Very thoughtful person. They offer a huge and delicious breakfast which we ordered and it was completely worth it. The area was very quiet and peaceful and there is a beach for swimming just a few minutes away on foot. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us some advice on which bus to take continuing our journey and on good places to eat. It was a really nice stay, I highly recommend it.
