Almost 30 min. Walk to Saurah bus stop..or you can take a tuktuk for 200 Rupees. It is almost 30min walk to elephant breeding center Just FYI. ..If you love and care about animals, i don't recommend getting a ticket and get into the breeding center itself cuz it's truly a heart breaking seeing the poor mother elephants with their babies in chain just for the sake of the tourists to take photos and have fun.. I felt regret that i made it to the breeding center and had to watch that crime ....i didn't know that was the case Apart from that...the surrounding forest of the breading center is really worth visiting and enjoying the sunset their by the river ... Vikki can book for u Safari tours and also the bus. He arranged private tuktuk ride to 20 thousand lake for 1500 Rupees. And also booked for me the bus to Kathmandu for 900 rupees. My room had everything I needed, including a well working hot shower — a real treat after a day out in the park. The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. We felt the most welcomed by Sujan and his family. They are always there to make your stay and Chitwan experience amazing. Sorted us out for a walking and jeep safari, packed lunch for us and next day even booked our bus out of town with tuktuk pick up. The breakfast pancakes are delicious and filling. The room and bedsheets were clean, the hot water (as almost everywhere in Nepal) was a bit unreliable, but always at least warm enough for a quick shower. All in all great stay, we would come back again! P. S. The private walking tour is spot on, we saw so many animals, much closer then from the jeep.

First time traveling in Nepal and I wasn’t even in the country and Suraj (the owner) helped me so much with everything in the best way possible! I arrived to the hotel feeling like I knew the family already all because of the help and comfort that they made me feel before I travel. After traveling it just got better! Never been traveling in a place that made me feel so much like I was home. From the people, to the food, to the location and to the activities! They made me love Nepal at the first sight for having so much caring and professionalism at the same time! Amazing is the word that I find to describe how incredible it was! The location is simply fantastic, 5min walk to the river, in the main street. The room was perfect, anti-mosquito net, enough space for 3 people (it was only me in the room), good bathroom (hot water), fan installed, good light. Personal were so attentive, kind and respectful. You feel they don’t want to help because of your money, but because they are nice people. Kitchen was good and prices really good.
