My wife and I have traveled a lot over the years and stayed with plenty of hosts around the world. I can honestly say Debbie was the best host we’ve ever had! She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind—just a great person who made us feel right at home. The room was super clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the linens were high quality—you could tell she cares about the little things. The house is in an amazing spot overlooking the Marlborough Sounds, and the views were absolutely stunning. And the food—wow. Everything was homemade and fresh from her garden. It was so good we couldn’t stop eating! Debbie went above and beyond, and we’re grateful we got to stay at her place. Highly recommend- if we could give 11 stars, we would!

Unique property in the country yet only 10 minutes to town and many wineries. Very quiet and relaxing. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed, great shower. Many eclectic decorative touches added interest and fun. Highly recommended!
