Sally and Mike are very personnable and welcoming, and I would definitely choose to stay with them again when in Bocas. Totally recommended! The breakfast was amazing too and my boyfriend´s only complain (not truly) was that it was so good that he´d love to have a second plate. It is truly a gem!

We had originally booked-in for 1 night, but our experience was so fabulous that we decided to stay for a 2nd night. Our host was very helpful & informative, and always on hand for advice & suggestions. Rivas has a fabulous deck & swimming area. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Taxi boats will drop & pick you up right from the Rivas deck. The island is nice and quiet, with Bocas Town a 1/2 minute taxi boat from the accomodation's deck. Overall a really enjoyable stay, and we would highly recommend Rivas B&B.

The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower and warm water. Rooms on the ground floor share an outdoor warm water shower and bathroom. Facilities include a living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrace. BarrBra is a very special place - Marco, Hiyam and Rey are the kindest hosts and make you feel like coming home to family. The terrace on the water invites to relax and cuddle the cute dogs and cats living at BarrBra. The atmosphere is calming and our room was simply stunning with a huge private balcony where we would relax in hammocks and listen to the sea. The remoteness of the place, the piece that one can find there, the nature/wildlife (we saw sloth right next to the path), the food, the attentiveness of the hosts, the build/decoration and surroundings - everything was done in the traditional style. Not only was the Dolphin Bay Hideaway the most beautiful location we have stayed at in Bocas del Toro, but Brian and his team were also the most welcoming and attentive hosts we have met during our travels. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—like early morning coffee, the relaxed atmosphere of just spending time at the Hideaway, and the freedom to shape each day as we wished. Brian is a truly remarkable host: knowledgeable, generous with his time, always ready for a friendly chat, yet never intrusive. We left feeling not only rested and inspired, but also deeply grateful for such an unforgettable experience. They were so friendly, and really helpful. I recommend this place. Definately going back. Far from the noisy downtown, but you can use taxi, or bicycle to get to Bocas town.
