The kitchen is excellent, and the room is very spacious with a lovely balcony. We especially enjoyed the adorable dogs nearby, we became great friends with them! Communication with the host was always quick, and they were very helpful with any questions we had. Because of all this, and the great location, we can highly recommend this accommodation.

Alizee and Brian were the best, so sweet, and so helpful. They helped us rent our own boat. Alizee gave the most wonderful massage, and we had some food and drinks with them our first night. Situated in Tevaitoa in the Raiatea region, Bungalow chez Josi, bord de mer privé has a patio and garden views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out for guests. A perfect and comfortable setting on a private lagoon, very romantic. Josi is a wonderful, kind hostess. She and her staff made it very simple to rent their car for hire and kayak. We would love to come back.

Staying with Anouk was one of the highlights of my Raiatea trip. She is so sweet and I had a fabulous time chatting with her in my (broken) French. She’ll make you feel right at home! Her place is also in a great little spot on the island - convenient with a great nearby sunset but not in the main port. Stay with Anouk!

The Fare is private, spacious, beautiful, and well appointed in a traditional architectural style. Surrounded by lush vegetation. It’s an inside-outside setup that truly connects you to nature and the environment (yes, bugs and all but with everything you need to protect yourself). One the highlight of the stay is the wonderful host, Manutea, who shares his passion for the island and his knowledge of Raiatea, and will truly make you feel at home. Like almost all properties in French Polynesia, it sits next to the water edge and next to the main (only) road but traffic is light. You need a car and the host Manutea provided one at a very competitive rate including airport pick-up and drop off at no extra cost. It is a wonderful place to relax, sit on the porch and enjoy a slower pace. Forget your phone, social media or TV. This is not the place for it. The new family member, Bali the cat, will provide you with all the entertaining you need.

The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The individual villas have private balconies that provide wonderful views as this property sits up the hill with expansive views. We loved having breakfast and happy hour on our balcony enjoying these exquisite views.
