Shops and restaurants are within 5 minutes’ walk of Backlund Boende i Dalarna, while Vikarbybadet Beach is 1.5 km away. Just 10 minutes’ drive from the B&B is Dalhalla outdoor amphitheatre. The house, the outside space to eat or relax, the vicinity of the lake (we went for a swim and it was great!)

My friend and I were there for a concert at nearby Dalhalla and I can't wait for an excuse to go back to this hotel and see more of the area.

Absolutely lovely accommodation, home from home with everything you need. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’d ever slept in. Lovely patio area outside and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. only I couldn’t find was a hairdryer. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and even left us scones with Jam and cream plus some milk for our arrival. We loved everything about it .

The dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I went hiking in summer. The view in the mountains is very beautiful. Vasaloppet track goes through garden. In winter, you could have a best view for watching skiing race through the windows in dining room. And it is 22km to the finish point in Mora. And there is also a wonderful ski slope nearby. This is the nearest hotel. 🙂️⛷️
