Kebili
All units are air-conditioned and some of them feature a seating area with a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area. The units at the guest house come with a private bathroom and bed linen. very cozy vibes, great staff and super friendly
Douz
Featuring a private bathroom with a shower, units at the bed and breakfast also provide guests with free WiFi, while certain rooms here will provide you with a terrace. At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The owners of the structure are kind and helpful. In addition to the stay, I recommend the experiences they propose. The typical dinner is an incredible experience and the walk in the desert with the camels guided by Abdallah was magical. The structure is suggestive and well cared for. It was a real pleasure.
Douz
Set in Douz in the Kebili region, Maison d'hôtes DAR EMNA features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.
The guest house is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are featured in the guest house. The accommodation offers an air conditioning, a heating and a private bathroom.
This place is defined by its location on the edge of the desert. The room was functional, sparcely decorated, with surprisingly good a/c and wifi. The bathroom was rather crude. The breakfast was good and served at 7 a.m. to fit in with the 4.30-6.30 a.m. camel ride. The owner was charming (he got up to make sure we got on the camels at 4.30 a.m.) There are two camels to pet (though those were not the ones we rode).
Great location, beautiful lobby and pool area
Great location, welcoming staff!
Great location, good food and enjoyed the camp fire
Great location, the host was amazingly kind and friendly. We loved staying here and felt very welcome.
Quiet and lovely and clean camp Correct food and facilities
It’s a very nice location, at the edge of the dessert. Owners are very nice and relaxed guys. The cabins are basic, but with all the luxury you’ll need. They provide a nice dinner if you want, and show you how to bake your bread in the sand. We did the sunset horse riding tour, and we loved it. Other options (we didn’t try them, so I can’t tell you) are camel tours and quads.
Sahara Douz was as expected. There are not many hotel options in the area and none that are luxury for what most would consider luxury, however I would say Sahara Douz did a great job of ensuring we were comfortable. We only stayed one night and the staff is what made the stay great.
This place is gorgeous: small, cosy rooms overlooking the desert and the palmeraia. The accommodation is literally the last rows of building before the dunes, which makes it very charming and relaxing. The rooms are decorated with taste and the garden has palmtrees and a patio where to stargaze at night. Breakfast is served in a room with a beautiful large window open towards the desert: quite a spectacle.
beautiful, very peaceful and quiet, clean, great breakfast but, above all, our host, Mohamed, was absolutely lovely, hospitable, accommodating etc etc! shukran Mohamed, Anna Maria and Matt.
