Toutou’s place is absolutely beautiful and has everything required for a long stay - air conditioned private room, fast wifi, clean and nice bathroom and shower, large kitchen. Breakfast, laundry and driver services are also all available. But best of all, you get to experience Toutou’s amazing hospitality: from cookies with your name baked into them on arrival, to the best local recommendations for all places nearby like El Jem, Kairouan, and Monastir, Toutou really makes you feel at home. The property is also located in a quiet residential area, away from the tourist traps. I would absolutely recommend staying at Dar Hkaïem.

The downstairs room was large and there were two lofts. Each with a single bed. Mouna took excellent care of everything for us, and her breakfast was very nice. View from roof deck was off the entire city.

Absolutely beautiful house with the typical architecture of the "dar" style tunesian houses where all the rooms face the courtyard. The pool was built into the courtyard which is perfect. Ideal to relax and enjoy pool and listen to the birds. Very friendly personnel and great breakfast.

The owner Andrea along with Samia and her family were the perfect hosts, exceptionally friendly, helpful always smiling and made us feel very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The authenticity, the decoration, the ambience, the location at the highest part os Sousse's Medina. They have a rooftop terrace with unbelievable views to the medina and the sea. The staff, and especially Mohamed, has been great and really helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Great stay.

The location is in a quiet part of the medina and has incredible views from the terrace. The room was the prettiest we’ve ever stayed in and exactly what we wanted from a traditional Tunisian guesthouse. We were lucky enough to see inside all rooms and each one is beautifully different. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We chatted for ages and they gave us great tips for visiting Sousse. The included traditional breakfast was very well presented and so tasty. There’s so much food! A great way to experience different bits of Tunisian food. We booked our stay very last minute and the hosts were very accommodating. So happy that we booked to stay here and can’t recommend it enough.

Upon reading the reviews here, we made a reservation for dinner on the rooftop, which had good views and delicious food. The location of breakfast was stunning as well, very chic. Hotel gave us helpful directions on where to park and how to get there.
